POLICIES

GENERAL BOOKING POLICIES
  • A non-refundable 50% deposit for each person requiring services must be received in order to secure any bookings. This fee counts towards your total balance for services, and the amount would depend upon which service is booked. No appointment will be scheduled without the retainer fee!
  • Bookings work on a first come first serve basis with a deposit given.
  • Prices are subject to change at any time until a deposit is received. Once a deposit is received your prices are guaranteed to remain the same.
  • The earliest we can start any bookings is at 5AM.
  • Bookings before 7AM will require an additional $50 for every hour prior to 7AM.
  • If you are 20 minutes late (or more) without informing us, the appointment will be automatically cancelled and you will be charged the full amount.
  • If you need to reschedule please contact us not less than 48 hours (2 days) prior to your appointment. Failure to reschedule and a no-show will result in an automatic cancellation and you will be charge the full amount of your session.
  • In the event that an emergency arises or something occurs beyond our control (e.g extreme sickness, car accidents, weather, etc), reasonable accommodations shall be made up to and including a full refund of the total you have paid for services not provided.
  • All photos taken by Studio Sarima may be used for promotional use (e.g social media, portfolio, website). You can however request that no photos be taken if you do not want your photo used.
WIG BOOKING POLICIES
  • If you are installing a Studio Sarima wig or BYOB wig, the processing time for wig construction is 14 business days and you will be notified when your wig is ready for install.
  • For wig installation services that do not include wig construction, all wigs must be dropped off 5 business days prior to your installation appointment for customizing and styling.
  • Please show up to your appointment with detangled clean hair. If your hair is already in cornrows, please make sure it is clean and braided flat.
  • Wig rejuvenation is available for Studio Sarima Wigs only. Please contact us to schedule a wig rejuvenation appointment/drop-off.
  • Wig customizations (bleaching knots and plucking) is only available for BRAND NEW WIGS (wigs that the lace has not been cut).
MAKEUP BOOKING POLICIES
  • Studio Sarima uses only the finest products and tools on clients and ensures that every product and tool is always sanitized before use on each and every client. For this reason, we cannot be held accountable for any allergic reactions that may occur during or after the makeup application or hair styling caused by products. This is why we suggest a trial, to test that the ingredients in our products agree with you.
  • Travel fees will apply for locations further than 15km from downtown Winnipeg.
  • If there shall be any parking/toll fees, then these are to be paid for in cash on the day of the event, by the person who has booked our services.
BRIDAL TRIAL POLICIES
  • Booking a trial does not secure your wedding date & time. Only an accepted deposit does. However, following your trial you will be given a 1-week grace period to decide if you would like to move forward with booking our services by means of a deposit. During that time there will be a soft hold on your date.
  • The soft hold means that if another person calls inquiring about booking on the same date, we will let you know, and give you the opportunity to book before we book with them.

Fine Print: By sending a deposit you acknowledge that you have read and hereby agree to accept the above terms and conditions set out in this booking policy outlined by Studio Sarima.

REFUNDS

Studio Sarima is fully committed to providing you not only high quality raw hair products, but a high quality shopping and customer service experience.
Due to the nature of our products, refunds are prohibited and all sales are final. If you have a problem with your order, please feel free to contact us here. We are dedicated to ensure you are happy and satisfied with our products and services. 

PROCESSING TIMES

  • Custom-Made Units:  Expect processing time of up to 14 business days.
  • Ready-To-Ship Units: Expect processing time of up to 3 business days for customization and styling.
  • Business days do not include weekends or holidays.
  • Processing times do not include shipping time.

SHIPPING POLICIES

  • Shipping within Canada: 2-5 business days.
  • Shipping to the US: 7-10 business days.
  • International: 11- 14 Business days.

You will receive a confirmation email with tracking details.

If you have a deadline that you need your product for, please order in advance to allow for unanticipated delays that may occur out of our control, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

CANCELLATIONS

Orders may be cancelled 24 hours after they have been placed. Contact us here to cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it. Even if you do not receive a reply within the 24 hour period, your request will still be granted. Please do this as soon as possible in order to ensure your cancellation is successful.  

STUDIO SARIMA ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILTY FOR:

  • Packages once the carrier has received it
  • Custom or duty fees outside of Canada
  • Lost or stolen parcels
  • Orders with the wrong address
